I lucked out when I met Jim Connolly. Not only did he work tirelessly this summer to help my boyfriend and I find an apartment together, he let me drag his family out to the Roosevelt Monument in Washington this summer for a family photo session as thanks for all of his help. You don’t get clients like this everyday — fun, happy, and willing to put up with all of my crazy ideas. All of my moving preparations has put real estate photography on my brain. Coincidentally I spent some time with James Grant of the Eng Garcia Group last month to take some shots of a condo for sale in Alexandria, Virginia. The unit has a great wrap around porch — lots of fun to shoot with my wide angle lens — and huge living area that opens up to both the kitchen and living room. Even more entertaining was the chihuahua keeping me company during the shoot. (He may have gotten a few belly rubs in between shutter clicks.)
