HOW TO ENTER

1. Click “Like” on Kristina Hopper Photography & Design on Facebook. If you’ve already “Liked” the page, click on the left sidebar item marked “Contest”.

2. Click “Allow” permission to for the app to access your information. This information will not be shared.

3. Submit your photo and one short paragraph detailing why your child or children should win at Facebook using the online submission form or mail-in your entry to the address listed below.

OFFICIAL RULES

Submissions accepted between May 8, 2011 at 12:01 am and May 30, 2011 at 11:59pm. Winners will be announced June 15, 2011.

Internet submissions will be made on Facebook and will be subject to the following guidelines:

  • Uploaded photo must be no larger than 4mb.
  • Photo must be accompanied by the following: name of parent/guardian, email address, mailing address, child or children’s names/ages and a short paragraph describing why they should win.

Mail-in submissions will be subject to the following guidelines:

  • Kristina Hopper Photography and Design LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged photos.
  • Mailed in photos must be no larger than 5″ x 7″.
  • Photos will be returned if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included with the mail-in entry. Winners’ photos will not be returned, due to possible publishing use.
  • Mailed in pictures must be accompanied by the following items: a. Name and signature of parent/guardian, email address, mailing address, child or children’s names/ages and a paragraph describing why the child should win.
  • Photographs should be mailed to: Kristina Hopper Photography and Design LLC, 520 John Carlyle Street Unit 112, Alexandria VA 22314.

ELIGIBILITY

Contest open to single children or groups of siblings. Contestant(s) must reside in Northern Virginia and be between the ages of 6 months and 10 years. Judging will be based on the opinion of Kristina Hopper and participating sponsors, including but not limited to creativity, and written submission entry.

Photos are judged with no discrimination towards sex, race, or age. All decisions are final.

No professional photographs will be accepted.

Photos containing nudity or children depicted in a derogatory or dangerous position will not be accepted. Kristina Hopper reserves the right to refuse any photograph deemed unacceptable.

Photos must be taken during submission dates or up to six months prior to contest.

Only one entry per family. A parent or legal guardian must approve submission of the contestant’s photo. By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants Kristina Hopper Photography and Design LLC the right to publish submitted photo, child’s name, city, and any written words submitted on the internet and additional marketing materials. Slight photo alterations may be made in order to fit marketing materials.

PRIZES

All entrants receive $25 dollar credit toward a future photography package. The winner will receive, in addition to other prizes, a portrait session and collection of prints valued at a minimum of $725.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNER

The winner will be contacted directly via phone or email, and prizes will be released within two weeks of announcement. The winner will also be announced via blog, Facebook and Twitter.
Winner must schedule portrait session within 60 days of announcement. Portrait session rescheduling and/or cancellation subject to prize forfeiture.

WAIVER OF CLAIMS

By entering the Cutest Kid in NOVA Contest, all Contest winners agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and waive any claims against, Kristina Hopper Photography and Design LLC, and any of the affiliates, employees, directors, officers, agents, representatives and assigns of any of said entities, arising, directly or indirectly, out of, or in any way connected with, this Contest or the prizes awarded in connection therewith.
